Recognizing the healthcare gap in our region, Mr. K. N. G. Shanmugam envisioned a facility where quality treatment was not a luxury, but a right. Vetri Hospital was built to serve people within a 10km radius who previously had to travel long distances for care.
Inspired by Family, Led by Doctors
Dr. Vetri. S. Aravind Vimal, son of our Chairman, chose to follow his father's dream and vision. Together with his wife, also a doctor, they have dedicated their lives to delivering ethical and accessible healthcare for all.
A Mission Rooted in Community Need
In a time when no 24-hour multi-speciality hospital existed within a 10km radius of Aduthurai, many families were forced to travel long distances and endure high medical expenses. Witnessing this gap in accessible healthcare deeply impacted me.
With heartfelt encouragement from my family and unwavering support from my son, a dedicated doctor who chose to stand by my side, we laid the foundation for Vetri Hospital. My daughter-in-law, also a doctor, became a pillar of this mission.
Our dream was simple yet powerful: to bring quality, affordable healthcare closer to the people who need it the most. Through every challenge, our community remained at the heart of our mission.
